PROJECT SUEDE BOOT

This project began when one of my clients asked me to create an outfit for a very especial pair of suede boots. My first idea was a clean cut soft tunic with a matching belt.
For the tunic I chose a blush double charmeuse silk for its great weight and movement, lined with silk habotai.
To create the belt I ordered the original metal rivets, snaps, and tools to work with, also the suede and leather base.
The most creative challenge was to create the design for the belt inspired by the tip of the boot, and all the glue and hammering involved on it.
The tunic had hidden openings on both sides at waist level to pass the belt inside if the client wants to wear the outfit a little loose.
To accesorize the outfit I ask my friend, jeweler designer, Patty Sohns to create a woven necklace and she created a beautiful piece with a jasper cabouchon, and matching earrings.
